This is so easy it probably doesn’t need a blog post, but maybe it’s so simple, that it might have never occurred to you! So here you go, the tomato toast.
What you need:
Cheese Dots Waffles
Ripe, juicy, tomato of your choosing.
Salt & Pepper
Basil (optional)
While your waffle(s) is in the toaster, slice the tomato. I like them thin so I can stack more and have less skin.
When the Waffle pops out, you can spread some salted butter if you‘d like.
Place the tomato slices on top, add a little bit of salt and some pepper.
Add fresh basil leaves, but you could use dry oregano too.
Trust me, this is absolutely delicious! So easy, so quick, but so so yummy!
