What is Tapioca Starch?Tapioca, also known as cassava or yuca is a naturally gluten-free tuberous root native to Brazil and other tropical countries. Much like a potato, it can be used in many ways. Once the “bark” is peeled it can be boiled, fried, baked, made into flour, or starch. The starch comes from the process of soaking, decanting and drying the Tapioca root.

"I'm celiac, can I eat Cheese Dots?"While you should or should not eat Cheese Dots is a personal choice, what we can do is provide you with more information to make that decision. We currently work in a shared facility that is not certified gluten-free, this means other businesses rent the same kitchen space at different times. We always work alone and we have strict cleaning procedures in place to minimize any potential cross contamination, as all of our products are entirely made without gluten. Many of our customers are celiac and have never had issues, but if you would like to know more, you can check the link below and/or contact us at contact@pazbakery.ca, we are always here to help! https://celiac.org/main/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/Combined-Gluten-Free-Diet-and-Food-Label-Reading-Guide.pdf

I accidentally left my Cheese Dots out of the freezer, can I still cook them?As per health guidelines, it is not recommended to thaw food at room temperature. If you've had them out of the fridge or freezer, we cannot guarantee their quality or success when baking. If you left them in the fridge, that is not a problem. You can still bake them following the instructions on the packaging. If they stuck together, you might have to reshape them or you can make tart shells. You can find some inspiration here.
